Fu Bojie TEXT SIZE: A A A

  Fu bojie is doctoral tutor and once served as deputy director of the Ecological Environment Research Center, Chinese Academy of Sciences and commissioner of Resources and Environment bureau, Chinese Academy of Science. He achieved outstanding results in land evaluation, landscape patterns and ecological processes, making a pioneering combination of the scale - pattern – process. He published more than 160 papers in the core journals at home and abroad, of which there are more than 20 SCI papers and five books.

 

  

  Education:

  1982: Shanxi Normal University, Department of Geography B.S.

  1984: Shanxi Normal University, Department of Geography, Ma.S.

  1989: dual culture PhD by Peking University Department of Geography and University of Stirling, Department of Environmental Science, UK

  1992 - 1994: postdoctoral research at the University of Leuven in Belgium, Land and Water Management Institute

  

  Main research directions: physical geography and landscape ecology

  Major projects:

  1. Integrated control and Demonstration of fragile ecological zones in western China

  2. Conservation of regional ecological environment and biological diversity

  3. Loess Plateau, soil erosion, land evaluation and soil conservation
